Job summary

Marvin Engineering Co., near Los Angeles International Airport, seeks an assembler to join the team responsible for assembling and testing electrical components such as harnesses, power supplies, mechanical assemblies, capacitors, and switches. You will read blueprints, set up equipment, wire and solder as needed, and ensure on-time shipment dates.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and 1–3 years of related experience, can lift up to 35 lbs, and are proficient in English.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years related experience or training.
Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

Understand blueprints, specifications, and job orders and assign work.
Demonstrates equipment setup and operation, techniques of assembly, wiring, and soldering.
Ensure customer shipment dates and specifications are met by meeting productivity and quality standards.
Make recommendations to improve production methods, performance, and quality of product.
Abide by all safety requirements, regulations, and Company Policies.
Develop your assembly skills and grow with leadership support.
Perform other related duties as may be required.
