Job summary

Astronics AES in Kirkland, WA is searching for a Data Management Specialist to handle technical data and controlled documents for cabin power products. You’ll collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

The position requires strong expertise in data management within the aerospace industry, with opportunities for hybrid work (2–3 WFH days/week). The role includes analyzing data processes and enhancing document control workflows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data management, document control, or records management.
• Preferably in aerospace, defense, or government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine data management strategies and procedures.
• Manage the full lifecycle of data submittals for customers and government agencies.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

Skills

Customer and supplier data management

ITAR, EAR and export control practices

AS9100 and aerospace quality/documentation standards
