Job summary

Aerosonic, a Clearwater, FL-based leader in aviation instrumentation, seeks a Cybersecurity Program Manager to lead and maintain our cybersecurity and compliance program, focusing on CMMC Level 2 and NIST 800-171 compliance.

As the company’s internal cybersecurity leader, you will coordinate with MSPs, leadership, and cross‑functional teams to protect sensitive information, drive audit readiness, and embed security across engineering, operations, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• 3–5 years in cybersecurity, information security, compliance, or risk management.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity and risk management frameworks.
• Experience developing security policies, risk assessments, and compliance docs.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity and compliance program aligned with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2.
• Manage documentation such as SSP, risk register, policies, and audit evidence.
• Coordinate audits, assessments, and customer compliance reviews.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks; oversee vulnerability management.
• Liaise with MSPs, leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Lead incident response and security awareness training.
• Collaborate with Eng, Ops, Quality, HR to embed security in processes.
• Assist with budget planning and resource management for cybersecurity.
