Job summary

Engineering Resource Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager for a permanent, multi-site defense manufacturing environment. You will develop and enforce information security policies aligned with CMMC and NIST, lead security architecture across networks, systems, applications and data, and build a road map covering IT infrastructure and data at all sites.

The role also includes security assessments, incident response planning, mentoring staff, and managing the information security budget; U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT security role.
• Strong working knowledge of network infrastructure and database security.
• Experience designing secure network, system and application architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise security architecture across networks, systems, applications and data, balancing risk with business objectives.
• Build and execute a security roadmap covering IT infrastructure, applications and data at all sites.
• Perform recurring security assessments and internal audits and drive remediation to closure.
• Lead incident response planning, breach investigation and post-incident resolution.
• Mentor IT staff on security tools, technologies and best practices.
• Partner with department leaders to integrate security controls into business processes.
• Manage the information security budget, including forecasting and resource allocation.

• BS Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT security role.
• Strong working knowledge of network infrastructure and database security.
• Experience designing secure network, system and application architectures.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti-virus/endpoint protection, authentication/MFA, log management/SIEM and content filtering.
• Experience with risk assessment tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and computer forensics tools and methods.
• Knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks and CMMC requirements a plus.
• Security+, CISSP or CISM certification a plus.
• U.S. citizenship is REQUIRED as this is a defense company.
