Job summary

Barrios Technology, an engineering solutions partner, seeks a Technical Production Planner II to optimize the Integrated Master Schedule using Primavera P6 and lead CPM-based scheduling efforts for aerospace programs. You will translate shop-floor data into actionable lead-time projections and drive recovery plans in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidate has a STEM BS with 5+ years in production planning or scheduling for aerospace/defense, strong Excel skills, and proven

Qualifications

BS degree in STEM from an accredited college or university with 5 years of relevant experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interface with customers.
Ability to work in a team and independently on a dynamic development program.
Strong data gathering, attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking.
Self-starter, highly motivated with initiative and minimal supervision.
Experience in aerospace manufacturing/systems scheduling (AS9100 familiarity preferred).
Advanced proficiency with scheduling software and Excel data modeling.
Understanding CPM, EVM, and CRP within enterprise planning tools.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to convey schedule risks to management.

Responsibilities

Gather status updates directly from production technicians.
Translate shop-floor updates into lead-time projections and schedule revisions.
Perform CPM analysis to identify schedule drivers and bottlenecks.
Own and optimize the IMS using Primavera P6 with proper sequencing and resource loading.
Facilitate look-ahead meetings and develop recovery plans for constraints.
Generate clear visual health metrics for program managers and leadership.
