Job summary

Barrios Technology is seeking a Technical Production Planner II in Houston to lead schedul­ing activities and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Primavera P6. You will translate shop-floor updates into accurate lead‑time projections and support program managers with schedule risk analyses.

The role requires a STEM BS with 5+ years of experience, strong Excel modeling, and deep CPM/EVM/CRP knowledge.

Qualifications

• BS degree in STEM plus five years of applicable experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or high-complexity assembly.
• Strong Excel data modeling and project scheduling skills.
• Understanding CPM, EVM, and CRP in enterprise planning.

Responsibilities

• Gather qualitative and quantitative status updates from production technicians.
• Translate shop-floor updates into lead-time projections and schedule revisions.
• Perform CPM analysis to identify schedule drivers and bottlenecks.
• Own and optimize the IMS using Primavera P6 with proper sequencing and resource loading.
• Facilitate look-ahead meetings to identify constraints and develop recovery plans.
• Generate visual health metrics like Schedule Variance and Burn-down charts.
