Job summary

AlbanyEngineered Composites (AEC) in Salt Lake City, UT, seeks a Controls Technician to support maintenance, troubleshooting and modifications of automated power panels and control systems in a high‑reliability aerospace environment.

You will work with engineering and maintenance teams to keep equipment running, perform diagnostics, and implement upgrades while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• AS degree or technical college completed.
• 5–7 years of hands-on troubleshooting of PLC and automated controls.
• Experience with aerospace manufacturing or similar precision industry is a plus.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and install automated equipment in production.
• Diagnose electrical control issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Lead installation, modification and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Train others and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Document maintenance and upgrade activities.
