Job summary

Albany International Corporation seeks a Controls Technician to maintain and troubleshoot automated equipment in an indoor production setting. You will work with engineering and maintenance to ensure high-quality, compliant operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications include an AS or technical college degree, 5–7 years of PLC and automated controls experience, and familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, LabVIEW, and GE Proficy. US person, minor overtime flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or similar precision industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and install automated equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical control issues to minimize downtime.
• Lead and assist in installation, modification, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Interpret drawings and electrical schematics to understand layouts.
