Job summary

PPG's Aerospace Business seeks an experienced Project Manager for aerospace manufacturing construction projects in Mojave, CA. You will direct budgets, schedules, and vendor coordination, ensuring safety and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

The role is hybrid—onsite in Mojave four days a week with one day remote—reporting to the Process Engineering Manager. Travel up to 25% across US sites is expected, with a base salary of $140,000–$165,000 and up to 10% annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' PM experience in chemical, aerospace, or industrial construction.
• Ability and willingness to travel to multiple sites in US and overseas up to 25%.
• In-depth budgeting, estimating and project control knowledge.
• Familiarity with design/build, FEL 0-3, and construction standards.
• Proficient in project management software; able to read blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop plans and schedules aligned with client expectations and goals.
• Oversee budgeting, estimating, and purchasing for cost effectiveness.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for timely delivery.
• Implement SOPs for project management and ensure safety compliance.
• Manage multiple projects and client relationships; provide updates.
• Handle change orders and maintain records; manage submittals.
