Job summary

Firehawk Aerospace in Addison, TX seeks an experienced Configuration Manager to lead CM processes and act as the primary data manager for aerospace operations. You will report to the design engineering manager and drive audit-ready documentation and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Responsibilities include change control, data archiving, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure tight alignment with industry standards and customer requirements in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in a configuration and data management role using Windchill.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent.
• Strong aerospace configuration management knowledge and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage configuration management processes and data archiving.
• Lead change control boards and ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Provide system administration, user access, and compliance oversight.
• Maintain industry standards subscriptions and align with DoD/ITAR requirements.
• Coordinate with design engineering and other departments on CM initiatives.
