Job summary

Lunar Outpost Inc. in Colorado is seeking a Configuration Manager to advance our space robotics program. You will monitor, maintain, and report on CM data, and lead change control board activities to implement CMPs and CM baselines.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or CS, 7+ years in CM/DevOps in aerospace or defense, and hands-on experience with CM tools (Windchill, Jira) and version control. U.S. Person status is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of configuration management, DevOps, or Systems Administration experience in aerospace/defense.
• Experience with Configuration Management tools (Windchill, Bild, Jira, etc.) and version control systems.
• U.S. Person status required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all engineering documentation, drawings, BOMs, and as-built configurations are accurately maintained and traceable.
• Interface with systems engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure consistency between hardware configurations and verified designs.
• Manage functional and physical configuration audits (FCAs and PCAs) and prepare reports and verification documentation.
