Job summary

Red 6 is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to oversee configuration control, data management, and documentation across the ATARS program lifecycle. You will collaborate with engineering, program leadership, and customers to process ECRs/ECNs, manage drawings, and ensure traceability of changes.

The role requires CM experience in regulated environments,Windchill proficiency, and strong communication skills to report metrics and status to leadership. A security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• AA/AS or BA/BS in related technical discipline.
• 3+ years CM experience in aerospace/defense or similarly regulated industry.
• Experience with Windchill PLM in Windows environment preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain CM tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint).
• Experience supporting DoD or government customers.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to present CM status to leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CM standards and procedures to support engineering activities and business needs.
• Interpret CM processes and apply to program activities; work with CM Manager to develop plans, milestones, and schedules.
• Administer and support CM boards including ECR/ECN processing and change tasks.
• Interface with PLM tools to manage configuration data and change workflows.
• Support program reviews and deliverables related to CM plans and reports (CDRL/SDRL).
• Manage engineering drawings and data package releases; control change processes.
• Develop and track CM metrics; report status to CM Manager and leadership.
• Support document control and data management; report to the CM Manager.
