Job summary

Electra.aero in Manassas, VA seeks a Configuration Management Specialist to protect engineering data integrity across the product lifecycle, supporting hardware, software, and documentation with robust change control.

You will build processes, manage changes through CCBs, perform audits, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and certification teams to enable efficient development of the EL9 program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience in configuration management or a regulated industry.
• Experience with PLM systems, preferably Teamcenter.
• Strong knowledge of configuration management principles and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of configuration management policies and procedures across the organization.
• Manage configuration items including hardware, software, and documentation.
• Maintain auditable records of system configurations and changes.
• Implement and oversee version control for engineering data and documentation.
• Coordinate change requests and approvals through CCBs.
• Conduct impact assessments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform configuration audits and maintain CM databases.
