MACRO Industries, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for the Lenexa, KS facility. The role involves hands-on production activities following specifications, drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.

Key duties include reading engineered drawings, operating production machinery, measuring and cutting materials, ensuring quality, maintaining a clean, safe workspace, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives with the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineered drawings.
• Excellent mechanical background and attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand company engineered drawings.
• Sets up and operates production machinery, cutting equipment, saws and precision measuring tools.
• Prepares and ensures materials are used and handled appropriately.
• Measures, marks, and cuts materials with precision.
• Ensures finished product meets quality standards and specifications.
• Keeps track of supply inventory.
• Assists in packaging and labeling finished products as needed.
• Maintains clean and safe work area.
• Performs routine equipment checks and preventive maintenance ensuring cutting tools and machinery are in safe working condition.
• Assists in continuous improvement activities to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
• Provides assistance to other team members as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
