Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Composites Machining Process Specialist for the 2nd shift to produce high‑quality aerospace components. You will operate CNC equipment, inspect parts, and contribute to process improvement to ensure compliance with industry standards.

You will collaborate with engineering to develop MPDs/SOPs, interpret drawings, and support EHS initiatives while mentoring peers and maintaining a safe, productive workflow.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or High School Diploma/GED required or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with machining or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience reading technical drawings and GD&T is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment and adjust settings to machine complex shapes with high precision.
• Produce high-precision composite parts using machining centers and hand tools.
• Perform in-process quality inspections aligning with aerospace standards.
• Support and mentor teammates on setups and best practices.
• Read and interpret drawings and use precision measurement tools.
