Job summary

DZYNE Technologies in Irvine, CA is seeking a Composite Technician for full-time, on-site work in our aerospace composite shop. You will perform hand lay-up of wet-lay composites and assist in fabricating and finishing aircraft structures according to DOD requirements.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of relevant experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years relevant aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Experience with wet-lay composite materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math.
• On-site Irvine, CA with travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand lay-up of wet-lay composites.
• Fabricate and finish composite structures for aircraft.
• Bond and assemble composite parts with fasteners.
• Interpret blueprints and perform measurements.
• Collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Work extended hours as required.
