Job summary

Heven AeroTech in the United States is seeking a Composite Technician to perform fabrication and assembly of airframe structures using advanced composites. You will handle layup, prepregs, resin systems, and autoclave cycles in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires reading blueprints, documenting inspections, and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery. On-site, with strict PPE and safety standards, visa-free employment only.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with advanced fabrication and assembly of composite parts and airframe structures.
• Experience with wet layup, prepreg, vacuum bagging for carbon fiber, fiberglass, Kevlar.
• Ability to handle epoxy resin systems per MSDS.
• Operate autoclave/oven cure cycles; manage prepreg storage/handoff.
• Read blueprints and process specs; document work orders/inspections.
• Maintain PPE, 5S, FOD standards; quality-focused.
• Proficiency in English, no visa sponsorship; ITAR/EAR eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced fabrication and assembly of composite parts, subassemblies, and airframe structures.
• Execute composite layup using wet layup, prepreg, and vacuum bagging techniques (carbon fiber, fiberglass, Kevlar).
• Produce adhesive bonded assemblies of metallic and nonmetallic materials.
• Handle, mix, and apply epoxy resin systems in compliance with MSDS.
• Operate and monitor autoclave and oven cure cycles; manage prepreg storage and handling.
• Demold, trim, sand, drill, and finish composite parts to tight engineering tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and process specifications.
• Complete accurate documentation of work orders and inspection results.
• Maintain compliance with PPE, 5S, and FOD standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production planning teams.
