Pratt & Whitney Holt, MI is seeking candidates for a hands-on role in cutting, sizing and assembling advanced composite materials, aircraft components, and metal parts. The position requires the ability to work with fiberglass, carbon fiber, Kevlar, and associated tools, with a focus on maintaining very tight tolerances.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED, experience in manufacturing or with A&P certification preferred, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent (GED) required or preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with body work and painting, machine metal and hand tools or with composite materials (fiberglass, carbon fiber, Kevlar).
• Experience in welding and electronics.

Responsabilités

• Cutting, sizing, and measuring composite materials per process sheets.
• Disassembly and assembly of aircraft components.
• Manipulating materials by stretching and heating to form molds.
• Performing composite and metal fabrication and finishing with tight tolerances.
• Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and teamwork in the role.
