Job summary

Requirements include a post-secondary degree in Engineering, Business, or Management and 3–7 years of relevant estimating experience. CAD proficiency is preferred and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of relevant estimating experience.
• Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Management or equivalent.
• Experience with CAD is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops detailed project cost estimates including scope and economic analysis.
• Translates project scope into capital expenditure cost estimates.
• Establishes cost-monitoring processes to track project profitability.
• Audits and validates methodologies for deriving quantities from designs.
• Ensures cost development policies comply with laws and management objectives.
