Applied Composites seeks an Estimator to provide complete and accurate cost estimates that influence business decisions. The role partners with internal departments to estimate costs and profits for complex specifications and projects, while evaluating pricing strategies and ensuring cost policies comply with laws and management objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant estimating experience.
• Ability to translate project scope into cost estimates.
• Experience with cost monitoring and variance analyses.

Responsibilities

• Develops detailed project cost estimates based on scope and data.
• Translates scope into capital expenditure estimates.
• Establishes cost-monitoring processes to track profit or loss.
• Reviews and audits cost estimates and validates derivations.
• Extrapolates cost curves from scheduling data and analysis.
• Ensures compliance with government laws, regulations and management objectives.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
