Neon Aero is hiring a Composite Layup Technician to work on-site in Manchester, CT. You will perform complex layups to approved engineering requirements, maintain material and quality controls, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to deliver reliable aerospace hardware.

Ideal candidates have five+ years of layup experience, ability to read drawings, and strong knowledge of dry/wet layup, debulking, vacuum and cure processes.

Formación

• Five years of hands-on composite layup experience in aerospace.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, ply tables, and sequence requirements.
• Experience with dry and wet layup, debulking, vacuum checks, cure prep, and cleanroom controls.
• AS9100 quality practices and first-article builds experience.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Produce carbon fiber and fiberglass composite layups to spec.
• Prepare tooling, place and inspect plies, and monitor vacuum integrity.
• Maintain material traceability and process records for quality.
• Support first-article builds and process improvements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Production on-site.
