  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, ply tables, ply orientation and sequence requirements, work orders, and process instructions.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of dry and wet layup, mold and tooling preparation, debulking, vacuum integrity and leak checks, cure preparation, vacuum and temperature monitoring, cleanroom controls, chemical safety, and FOD prevention.
  • Experience with manufacturing documentation, lot traceability, material shelf‑life and out‑time controls, layup defect recognition, and escalation.
  • Experience with first‑article builds, complex assemblies, AS9100 quality practices, process improvement, engineering investigations, mentoring, training, auditing, technician certification when authorized, and small‑team coordination.
  • Strong manual dexterity, precise workmanship, communication, independent judgment, and collaboration skills.
