Job summary

Robertson Fuel Systems, a HEICO company, seeks an Industrial Coating Technician. The role focuses on applying specialized coatings and operating high-pressure abrasive blasting systems to meet engineering specs for composite materials and fuel containment components.

You will handle polyurethanes, epoxies, primers, and elastomeric coatings while ensuring proper curing, oven conditions, and environmental controls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing role or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities

• Mixes and applies complex coatings including polyurethanes, epoxies, primers, and elastomeric systems to Engineering specifications.
• Operates spray equipment and pressure vessels, including airless, conventional, HVLP, and automated systems.
• Monitors curing environments, oven temperatures, flash times, and humidity per Engineering specifications.
• Operates blast equipment and abrasive tooling to treat substrates as required.
• Performs masking to protect surfaces and maintains equipment and logs for traceability.
