Job summary

Robertson Fuel Systems, a HEICO company, seeks an Industrial Coating Technician I to apply coatings and operate high-pressure blasting systems in a manufacturing setting. You will work with polyurethanes, epoxies, primers, and elastomeric coatings per engineering specs.

Responsibilities include monitoring cure environments, maintaining equipment, reading drawings, and ensuring compliance with TCP and export controls. The role offers a 4x10 schedule with Fridays off and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Reads and understands drawings, process specifications, manufacturing orders, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Adherence to Export Control and Technology Control Plan (TCP) as applicable to job
• Supports training and on-the-job learning initiatives for lesser-experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

• Mixes and applies complex coatings (polyurethanes, epoxies, primers, elastomeric systems) to engineering specifications.
• Operates precision spray equipment (airless, conventional, HVLP, automated) including pressure vessels.
• Monitors curing environments; verifies oven temperatures, flash times, and humidity meet specs.
• Maintains blast machinery; replaces nozzles, hoses, liners and dust filters.
• Reads and interprets drawings and process instructions; records lot/batch numbers for traceability.
• Supports equipment design and cross-department coordination for ovens and related tooling.
