Job summary

Chromalloy is a global engineering and solutions company delivering aftermarket parts and repairs for aircraft engines. We’re seeking a skilled Vane Post Machinist to set up and operate CNC equipment in an FAA-regulated environment, repairing critical turbine components.

In this role you will read blueprints and GD&T, use precision measuring tools, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• CNC machining experience in manufacturing.
• Read blueprints and GD&T.
• Use precision measuring tools.
• Strong math and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment for vane repair.
• Machine and repair precision aerospace components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Set up tooling, fixtures and materials for machining.
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers and gauges.
• Adjust feeds and speeds as needed.
• Complete inspection and production documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Operate overhead cranes as needed.
• Support Lean manufacturing initiatives.
