Job summary

Datrose is seeking an Engineering Technician in McLeansville, NC, for a long-term contractor engagement with Defense-Aerospace as the client. The role emphasizes interpreting drawings, fabricating hardware, and performing tests to improve processes. U.S.

Qualifications

Must have machining experience with manual and CNC equipment (HAAS Mills, 4th/5th axis, lathes).
Proficient with fabrication tools and ability to fabricate complex hardware.
Solid understanding of technical theory.
Experience with SolidWorks or CAM software is required.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift at least 50 lbs, and communicate with engineering.
Occasional overtime and use of GD&T and precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

Interprets basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics.
Constructs, modifies, debugs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests and adjusts tools and equipment.
Conducts and documents experiments to define process parameters.
Implements and documents process improvements.
Designs basic tooling and fixtures for tasks.
Analyzes data to identify cause/effect and suggest resolutions.
