Job summary

DRT Holdings, LLC in Simpsonville, SC is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You will independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines to produce high-precision aerospace components that meet tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CNC machining experience, multi-axis experience (2–5 axes), and a strong background in aerospace or high-precision machining.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC machining experience (setup and operation)
• Multi-axis CNC experience (2–5 axis)
• Aerospace or high-precision machining background preferred
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
• Experience holding tight tolerances (±0.0005” or better)

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (2– to 5-axis)
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, collets, chucks, and machine offsets
• Produce precision-machined components to tight aerospace tolerances
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring tools
• Make offset adjustments and minor program edits to maintain quality and accuracy
• Monitor tool wear and machining conditions for efficiency and consistency
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and programming issues
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 aerospace quality standards
• Maintain accurate production, inspection, and quality documentation
• Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity
