Job summary

RBC Aerostructures LLC in Westminster, SC seeks a 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead and support CNC manufacturing operations on the second shift. The role supervises production personnel, ensures safety and quality, and drives schedules while fostering continuous improvement in a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, CNC machining knowledge, and experience coordinating cross-functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Maintenance) to deliver on-time, compliant production

Qualifications

• High level CNC machining knowledge and experience.
• Able to read blueprints, drawings, routers, and specs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• 5+ years CNC machining in manufacturing.
• 10+ years total manufacturing experience.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to train and coach production staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise second shift production personnel.
• Ensure safety and quality standards.
• Monitor schedules and coordinate workflow to meet delivery goals.
• Maximize productivity through efficient use of labor and machines.
• Assist Production Control with planning and prioritization.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain CNC machines and perform preventive maintenance with Maintenance.
