Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a CNC Programmer to work with machinists, engineers, and management to develop and optimize aerospace machining processes for tight tolerances in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires NX CAM programming, PLM tooling experience, and familiarity with mill-turn and Okuma centers, in a high-precision aerospace context at our Redmond site.

Qualifications

• 4 years of hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance or hands-on engineering environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD/CAM software to program multi-axis milling machines to machine complex metallic structures and components
• Translate engineering drawings into reliable R&D and production machining processes
• Provide feedback to engineering teams to improve DFMA
• Design, program and machine test fixtures
• Maintain rev control of programs, tooling and setups
• Material selection and sizing
• Experience with a variety of materials (aluminum, stainless steels, titanium and nickel based alloys)
