Job summary

Triumph in Macomb, MI is seeking a CNC Programmer Specialist to design and optimize complex mill programs for aerospace gears and housings using Mastercam. The role supports shop floor production and collaborates with engineers to improve tooling and process efficiency.

Candidates should have an associates degree in Manufacturing Technologies and at least five years’ recent Mastercam experience, with 3D modeling, 5-axis and Mill-Turn capabilities, GD&T literacy, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Manufacturing Technologies.
• Five years’ experience (must be recent) using Mastercam.
• Three years 3D modeling experience with Mastercam.
• Experience with simultaneous 5 axis programming.
• Experience with Mill-Turn Programming.
• Must have strong cutting tool knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with basic aerospace measuring tools
• Working knowledge of GD&T and part detailing
• Basic Computer Skills: proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel etc.
• Capable of reading blueprints, specifications, and manufacturing orders
• Experience creating detailed step by step work instructions and sketches for the manufacture of complex parts

Responsibilities

• Create complex mill programs for aerospace gears and housings using Mastercam.
• Specify and determine the most efficient cutting tools for all features being machined.
• Design tools and fixtures using Mastercam.
• Support shop floor production.
• Other duties as assigned.
