Triumph Group is seeking a Specialist, CNC Programming in Macomb, MI. The role focuses on creating advanced Mastercam programs for aerospace gears and housings, selecting optimal cutting tools, and designing fixtures to maximize efficiency on the shop floor.

The candidate will collaborate with manufacturing teams, read blueprints, and produce detailed work instructions, enabling precise, repeatable production processes. Proficiency with GD&T and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Manufacturing Technologies.
• Five years of recent Mastercam experience.
• Three years of 3D modeling with Mastercam.
• Experience with simultaneous 5-axis programming.
• Experience with Mill-Turn programming.
• Strong cutting tool knowledge.
• Reading blueprints and manufacturing orders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create complex mill programs for aerospace gears and housings using Mastercam.
• Specify and select efficient cutting tools for machined features.
• Design tools and fixtures using Mastercam.
• Support shop floor production.
• Prepare detailed step-by-step work instructions and sketches.
