Job summary

Tri Tool, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop programs for CNC mills and lathes, using MasterCAM. You will work with engineers and machinists to optimize production, create setup sheets, and troubleshoot issues to ensure parts print correctly.

The role requires 5+ years of CNC programming and setup experience on 3–5 axis machines, with familiarity in MasterCAM, Fanuc Macro B, Haas, and Mazatrol controls. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED is required; technical/on-the-job training preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of five years programming CNC mills and CNC lathes.
• Experience: Five to ten years setting up/operating 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines and multi-axis centers.
• Software: Experience with MasterCam 2022 or similar CAD/CAM software; familiarity with Fanuc Macro B, Haas, Mazatrol controls.
• Skills: Proficient in G-code programming and editing; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs for production on vertical mills, horizontal mills, and lathes using MasterCAM.
• Maintain tooling/fixture libraries and toolpath libraries; create setup sheets.
• Ensure programmed parts run efficiently; collaborate with machinists to resolve quality issues.
• Update CAM programs for engineering revisions; design/order fixturing as needed.
• Read blueprints and technical manuals; follow safety regulations and company policies.
