Job summary

GE Aerospace in Lynn, MA is seeking a CNC Programmer to develop 2- to 5-axis NC processes for development hardware, to set up and operate machine tools, and to work from blueprints. You will participate in process improvements and collaborate with the shop floor to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s or associate degree (or equivalent manufacturing experience) and NC programming skills, with U.S. work authorization. A strong emphasis on quality and teamwork is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience in machining, assembly, or inspection.
• NC programming experience (APT, UG or similar).

Responsibilities

• Develop 2–3 axis NC processes for development hardware and 4–5 axis as needed.
• Set up and operate NC and conventional machine tools.
• Work from blueprints and sketches to produce hardware.
• Perform in-process checks including CMM setup and data.
• Troubleshoot issues and support production planning changes.
• Mentor other skilled employees on development and production tasks.
