Job summary

AS Aerospace, a leading aerospace fastener manufacturer, seeks a CNC Operator for our Palmdale, CA facility. You will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery to produce precision fasteners per engineering drawings and work orders.

Responsibilities include loading materials, tooling setup, inputting programs, performing maintenance, and inspecting parts. You will document measurements, report nonconformities, and work closely with production, engineering and quality teams to meet schedules

Qualifications

• Proven ability to operate CNC machines in a production environment.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions.
• Strong inspection skills using calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor CNC machinery to produce aerospace fasteners per drawings.
• Load materials and install tooling; input and adjust machine programs.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and inspect parts during/after machining.
• Document measurements and report nonconformities; ensure aerospace quality standards.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams to meet schedules and maintain safety.
