Qualifications

• Experience operating a manual engine lathe.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• High-precision metrology using micrometers and calipers.
• Familiarity with aerospace materials such as Inconel, Titanium, CRES, and Alloy Steel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual engine lathes.
• Machine parts to blueprint specifications and tight tolerances.
• Select and install appropriate tooling, inserts, and workholding fixtures.
• Perform turning, facing, boring, threading, grooving, drilling, and cutoff operations.
• Calculate and adjust speeds, feeds, and depths of cut based on material type.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment to ensure specifications.
• Maintain tooling and equipment in proper working condition.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Work with difficult-to-machine materials while achieving required quality standards.
