AstroForge seeks a CNC Operator in Seal Beach, CA to set up, operate and troubleshoot CNC machines for aerospace components. You will read blueprints, CAD/CAM files, and drawings to determine operations, while handling materials like aluminum and titanium in a fast-paced startup environment.

Ideal candidates have proven CNC experience in aerospace/high-precision parts, with CAM/CAD proficiency and meticulous attention to detail. Onsite role with evening/night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining training preferred.
• Proven CNC operator experience in aerospace or high-precision parts.
• Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD/CAM files, and drawings to determine operations.
• Work with aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and carbon composites.
• Adjust speeds, feeds, and tooling for optimal surface finish.
• Perform in-process inspections and document results.
• Collaborate with engineering for manufacturability feedback.
• Maintain tools and equipment, and uphold 5S in the workshop.
