Parts Tool & Die, a premier aerospace precision shop in Agawam, MA, seeks a CNC Milling Machinist for 2nd shift to set up, program, and operate complex milling centers. You will read intricate drawings, implement fixtures, and drive first-pass yield in a high-mix environment.

Ideal candidates bring substantial experience with exotic aerospace materials, strong metrology skills, and a commitment to quality under AS9100 standards.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of CNC milling setup/operation in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency with CNC milling centers and complex setups.
• Solid blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
• Experience with precision inspection and first article verification.

Responsibilities

• Set up, prove out, and operate CNC milling centers (3/4/5-axis).
• Read complex engineering drawings and GD&T callouts.
• Select tools, fixtures, and inspection methods for each operation.
• Machinist high-value aerospace components to tight tolerances with repeatability.
