Accelera in Southwick, MA is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist for a full-time, second-shift role. You will set up and operate CNC milling machines, inspect parts, and ensure precision to aerospace specifications.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on CNC milling background.
• Ability to perform full machine setups independently.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex technical drawings and blueprints.
• Skilled in the use of precision measurement tools to ensure part integrity.

Responsibilities

• Execute setups and manage the operation of CNC milling equipment.
• Analyze and translate technical blueprints, operational guides, and work instructions.
• Conduct thorough first-piece, in-process, and final quality evaluations.
• Utilize micrometers and calipers to verify finished part accuracy.
• Configure tooling and input offsets to ensure machine precision.
• Resolve machining, tooling, or production challenges to improve efficiency.
• Manage multiple CNC milling units simultaneously when needed.
• Maintain records for production, quality, and inspection tasks.
• Adhere to AS9100, ISO 9001, and 6S safety protocols.
