Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist - Milling in Westfield, MA. You will set up and run CNC milling operations, inspect finished parts, and make adjustments to ensure high quality.

The role requires experience in aerospace, familiarity with materials, and the ability to interpret blueprints and operation sheets. Key duties include following safety protocols, performing precise measurements, and maintaining equipment and documentation in compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Tech School preferred.
• 3+ yrs Experience operating a CNC Milling Machine.
• Experience in the Aerospace industry.
• Knowledge of various metals, alloys, and other materials to optimize speeds and feeds.
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators.
• Ability to set up on 3, 4, and 5 Axis machines.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and operation sheets.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Ability to follow setup instructions and operate machine controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot machines.
• Ability to perform precision work on parts with tight tolerances.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CNC Milling Machine.
• Perform precision work on parts with close tolerances.
• Follow Ops sheets and instructions for product specs.
• Maintain documentation per AS9100/ISO9001.
• Conduct daily maintenance and keep work area clean.
• Verify dimensions per operation sheet.
• Complete production paperwork and inspection procedures.
• Troubleshoot processes and adjust controls.
