Job summary

PacAero in Agawam, MA is seeking a 2nd Shift CNC Machinist to operate multi-axis CNC milling equipment producing high-precision aerospace components. Responsibilities include machine setup, first-piece inspections, and in-process checks to ensure tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong focus on quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and grow machining/setup skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-axis CNC milling equipment to produce precision components per print and specs.
• Perform machine setups, tool changes, offsets and first-piece runs as needed.
• Complete first-piece and in-process inspections to verify measurements.
• Read engineering drawings, blueprints and manufacturing docs.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with Machining, Quality and Engineering to resolve issues.
