Job summary

MPI is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer near Mentor, Ohio, to optimize production processes in an aerospace manufacturing environment. You will drive continuous improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or related field preferred.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Experience with CNC mills or lathes.
• Familiarity with assembly and production processes.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with CAD software and reading technical drawings.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing capabilities.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and suggest improvements.
• Support the implementation of new equipment and technologies in manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to production teams.
• Maintain detailed documentation of processes, workflows, and SOPs.
• Lead troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
