Position Summary

We’re seeking a Process Engineer to develop, improve, and support production processes throughout the launch, manufacture, and testing of precision-engineered products.


This role is ideal for an engineer with strong hands‑on problem‑solving ability, a background in machining, and a passion for continuous improvement.


You’ll act as a primary liaison between engineering, operations, and program management — helping ensure process reliability, efficiency, and scalability. You may also provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within your value stream.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop, evaluate, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness.

  • Program CNC machines, create tool paths, and simulate machining operations.

  • Collaborate with design engineering and program management to ensure manufacturability and process alignment.

  • Create and maintain manufacturing methods, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and labor standards in the ERP system.

  • Design, build, and validate tooling, fixtures, gages, and custom equipment.

  • Analyze manufacturing variances and implement corrective actions.

  • Lead workflow and cell design initiatives focused on lean manufacturing and waste reduction.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred (or equivalent technical experience).

  • 5–10 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.

  • 5+ years of CAD and CAM software experience (Mastercam preferred).

  • 3D modeling experience using AutoCAD Inventor or similar required.
