Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support process development, quoting, and production in a complex CNC environment. The role requires strong technical expertise, quoted cost analysis, and proficiency with MasterCam or Siemens NX.

You will work on high-precision components and collaborate across manufacturing to optimize processes and tooling. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field and 3+ years in CNC environments, with GD&T and CAD experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in CNC machining or complex precision manufacturing; airfoil experience preferred.
• Proficient with MasterCam or Siemens NX for programming and process development.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and ability to read technical drawings.
• Experience in quoting, estimating and process planning for precision parts.
• Familiar with CAD tools like AutoCAD or CadKey.

Responsibilities

• Determine methods, sequences, tooling, and materials for precision parts.
• Prepare detailed quotes for complex parts including time studies and cost analysis.
• Provide process engineering support to production with thorough documentation.
• Apply time standards to machining operations and input routing data to ERP.
• Develop and document CNC processes using MasterCam or NX.
• Use CAD to design fixtures, process layouts, and blueprints.
• Collaborate with machinists, programmers, and quality staff to improve manufacturability and reduce costs.
• Support NPI and continuous improvement in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
• Coordinate with local vendors for outside processing ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
