Zusammenfassung

Precision Castparts is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathe machines to produce aerospace components with precision and efficiency.

You will load and unload parts, perform inspections, adjust offsets, and mentor junior machinists on complex tooling and processes, while strictly following safety and quality standards. All shifts require adherence to company policies, with opportunities for growth and hands-on leadership.

Qualifikationen

• 1–6+ years CNC lathe experience or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Solid understanding of shop math.
• Familiarity with computer functions and ERP systems.
• Ability to read and write in English, including blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Operate CNC machine equipment to meet production rate and quality standards.
• Load and unload materials and parts from machines.
• Perform routine machine upkeep and maintain coolant, oil, and lube levels.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Monitor machine conditions and report issues to supervision.
• Deburr and edge-break parts as needed.
• Set up machines by loading fixtures, tools, and programs.
• Operate multiple machines and apply SPC techniques as needed.
• Perform basic CNC program operations and edit G Code as required.
• Design and set up complex tooling and part layouts.
• Train and mentor other machinists and participate in continuous improvement.
• Follow safety policies, quality standards, and 6S practices.
