Job summary

Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar is seeking a Machinist to operate NC machines and machining centers to fabricate aerospace parts per engineering specs. The role includes setting up jobs with supervision, maintaining quality, and using inspection tools in a production environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years CNC milling experience or a Machinist Tech Training Certificate, plus strong math and blueprint reading skills.

Qualifications

• Three+ years CNC milling experience or completion of Machinist Tech Training Certificate.
• Strong math skills and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Proficient with inspection tools and quality-minded processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and dimen­sionally maintain quality in a production environment with minimal supervision.
• Inspect parts using shop tools and blueprint specifications.
• Troubleshoot production issues such as out-of-tolerance machining and worn tools.
• Dial in hole or edge find and set machine offsets.
• Have basic understanding of G & M code and operate across multiple machine centers.
• Meet standard times with minimal supervision and follow safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
