Job summary

Ursa Major Technologies is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our aerospace machining team in Colorado. You will machine critical aerospace components with tight tolerances using 3- and 5-axis mills, mill turns, and CNC lathes, while maintaining uptime and supporting rework and setup tasks.

The role requires at least 1 year of machining experience, CNC operation and precision measuring tool use, and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a machining environment.
• Experience operating CNC equipment (lathe or mill).
• Experience utilizing precision measuring tools.
• Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment to machine aerospace components with tight tolerances.
• Keep machines running with maximized spindle uptime.
• Support rework and part modification operations.
• Assist with shop operations including set ups, maintenance, tooling and work holding management.
• Maintain a high standard of shop cleanliness and organization.
