Job summary

Tradesmen International in Auburn, WA is actively hiring CNC Machinists for a third shift in a precision aerospace manufacturing setting. Pay rate is $36-39/hour based on experience and skill level. Responsibilities include operating CNC mills and lathes, setting up equipment, writing and editing CNC programs, and performing quality inspections against blueprints and GD&T.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC machining background with mills and lathes.
• Experience with horizontal and/or vertical machining centers.
• Ability to write, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Familiarity with ITAR requirements and controlled environments.
• Previous aerospace manufacturing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and lathes in a precision aerospace environment.
• Set up and run CNC machining equipment for production work.
• Write, edit, and modify CNC programs as needed.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, programming, and dimensional issues.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specs.
• Inspect materials and verify material identification and requirements.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections.
