Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace is seeking a CNC Operator I for the 2nd shift in Renton, WA. The role involves setting up and monitoring CNC equipment to produce aerospace composite parts, working Mon-Thu from 3:00pm to 1:30am.

Compensation ranges from $28.88 to $33.28 per hour with a 10% shift differential. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of CNC experience on 3- and 5-axis machines, the ability to read aerospace blueprints, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using 3- and 5-axis CNC routing machines.
• Able to read aerospace blueprints and specifications.
• Able to work with/around fiberglass, resins, etc.
• Self-motivated, quick learner, and problem solver.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Skilled in reading machinist scales and calipers.
• Able to comprehend information and ideas presented orally and in writing.
• Proficient in basic math and algebra; using all units of measure, whole numbers, fractions, decimals; computing rate, ratio, and percent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machine by reviewing work orders, blueprints and materials; interpret GD&T.
• Assemble cutting tools and set up tool lengths.
• Oversee machine operation and adjust as needed; inspect finished parts.
• Clean machine, tooling and parts; perform basic maintenance.
