Job summary

The Panther Group is seeking a dependable CNC Machinist to join our client’s growing aerospace manufacturing team in Farmington, CT. Positions are available on 2nd and 3rd shifts, with training on 1st shift.

Responsibilities include operating CNC/EDM equipment, reading blueprints, inspecting parts, and contributing to continuous improvement while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• CNC operating experience required.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and manufacturing instructions.
• Basic understanding of machining processes and inspection.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and EDM equipment using established programs, fixtures, and processes.
• Make basic machine and program adjustments as needed.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
• Inspect parts and make corrections to maintain quality.
• Monitor machine performance, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
• Complete required production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Troubleshoot routine issues and work independently.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
