Job summary

Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc. in Mason, OH is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator on first shift to support production of aircraft and power generation components.

You will operate regular or vertical lathes, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet exact tolerances, reporting to the Shift Supervisor. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a CNC machining certificate, and at least 5 years of lathe experience; aerospace exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNC Machining certificate from a Trade School or acceptable work experience in lieu of schooling.
• Must meet the definition of a "U.S. person" under ITAR.
• Lathe, Shaft, or turning experience required - Min 5 yrs.
• Aerospace industry experience strongly preferred.
• G & M codes knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe machines (horizontal) and VTL as needed.
• Interpret Op sheets, blueprints, and travelers to meet specs.
• Verify conformance of finished work using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain knowledge of CNC principles, including G and M codes.
• Document actions in control charts and ERP system.
• Follow AS9100 quality standards and NADCAP accreditation.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
